First day.......

After a fabulous breakfast, including guava juice and big chunks of fresh mango, we roamed around the V and E waterfront. It is very windy here, which is to be expected where two oceans meet. We had a great lunch and then met Malle and Chris who are going to lead us on walks, starting on Thursday, the 18th. When it was 5:30 we had trouble keeping our eyes open. I had a nap. We wondered about the others. Jackson was flaked out on his bed; John and Ryan were fast asleep on lounge chairs around the pool. I took photos of them but have declined to post. Now, we are enjoying a glass of white wine and might be joined by the others for some snacks. Carolyn and girls are on their second leg of the journey. They will be so happy to get here as we will be to see them, tomorrow!
